Every qb doesn't have an Aaron rodgers start to they're career...maybe he is terrible,but he hasnt had much field experience to say he can't be any better than he was...
Maybe we should bring in Matt Lienart too or we could trade for Jimmy Clausen like someone else suggested...he played for McCoy in Carolina and McCoy wasn't done developing him into a hall of famer. Let's bring in Orton, he had his best season ever under McCoy or Jake Delhomme...I think he still has something left in the tank and with McCoy as his head coach we're bound to make the super bowl. All we need is McCoy and one of his great former QBs to get us over the hump.

I'm done with suggestions...most of you don't think outside of the box. Everything is critiqued as if the world is ending.I would love to see what you all would do as gms of this team.you can't have everyone you want..there is only 1 flynn,1 manning,1 luck and 1 griffin..start tannehill?weeden?its easy to bash an idea on the surface,but when you take a step back and get over that mccoy is "our" coach..why not bring in someone your familiar with?oh but wait...we are getting a franchise qb guaranteed this offseason so this is all irrelevant...
You get props for an idea that on paper makes sense, but as one of many who breathed a sigh of relief (before going WTF??) when the nutsack grabber's name wasn't called, his subsequent failures did nothing to repudiate that opinion. At this point, even Ted Ginn is worth a helluva lot more on the open market than Quinn...and especially when our own QB, who has plenty of criticism directed at and question marks is appreciably better!
You're right, there are only a limited number of elite, highly promising QBs and top flight college ones, but on the other hand the Brady Quinns of the world are a dime-a-dozen.
It depends on who the HC is for me. Since there is still a rumor out there that Philbin is still in it, I could see Flynn being the guy if he comes here, and if McCoy is the guy I could possibly see us trading up and getting RG3. I am hoping whoever the coach is that we can either get Tanninghill or Foles in the draft, as both guys have great upside and would not cost us the farm to get like RG3 would.

Well, judging on the OP's comments, maybe we should give Pat White another shot. He didn't start out like Aaron Rodgers either. He can't throw but McCoy made an offense for Tebow who can't throw either! LMFAO.
