Brady with an injured finger?

Injured finger causing concern about Brady?

This morningm PFT's Mike Florio noted that there's something fishy about today's Dolphins-Patriots game, with speculation about an injury to Tom Brady possibly influencing betting on the game.

Now there's more talk about an injury to Brady: Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Brady suffered an injured finger on Friday.

However, Schefter reports that the Patriots don't expect Brady to have any problem with the finger, that it sounds worse than it is, and that Brady will play today.

This talk about a Brady injury began earlier in the week, and Schefter's report says Brady suffered the finger injury on Friday. So the finger isn't all that's fueling the injury speculation. But one way or another, Brady will be on the field today in Miami, and we'll have an opportunity to judge for ourselves whether he looks healthy.
 
He doesn't have to look like Brady to win....as long as he can do his best Ryan Fitzpatrick impersonation he'll be ok.
 
The rumors were he suffered a cuccosion during the New Orleans game. Who Know Belicheat keeps injuries on lockdown. Now, if Brady comes out and struggles against us, then we can defitnetly take into consideration he is injured.
 
Brady looked fine against the Saints right up until he took that shot to the legs....then he looked a little skittish and missed a few open shots.
 
Mort just reported he's probable but the finger was re-aggravated in practice on Friday, so it's something to watch for and is an injury that likely caused him problems last week in the Saints loss. (problem griping the ball)
 
Didn't the Patriots get fined for falsely reporting or not reporting injuries to players?...I thought every team was required to accurately report injuries. What a bunch of BS. I bet people betting on games would appreciate some honest reporting. Goodell should hit them with another fine and take away another pick from them. Of course we all know Kraft is the guy running the NFL and Goodell is just a puppet.

As the Patriots prepare to play the Dolphins in Miami, all eyes are on quarterback Tom Brady's right hand.

According to Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald, Brady has been focusing on his ring finger.

Brady, per Rapoport, was shaking his hand, clenching and unclenching his fist, and "testing" and "pulling" the finger.

Yes, Brady was pulling his finger.

It's unknown whether Vince Wilfork provided the sound effects.
