POMPEI'S BRANCH REPORT IS RIGHT?
A league source tells us that Dan Pompei's recent report regarding the presence of stress fractures in the lower legs of defensive tackle Alan Branch is on the money.

A league source now tells Profootballtalk.com that SI.com's report about Alan Branch having stress fractures in both legs is accurate.
However, PFT notes that different doctors will give different medical opinions. We're not sure how this will affect Branch on draft day, but defensive linemen often tend to struggle with nagging lower leg injuries.

Apparently, he was walking around fine during the Michigan spring game on Saturday.. Stress fractures are very common with athletes.. No big deal.

Not that I want Alan Branch, as I think he'll be a bust .

How do you get a stress fracture from doing nothing? He needs to drink more milk.

I never wanted Branch and I sure as heck hope we stay away from him now.
