UPDATE:

Albert, the star left tackle who is some 10 months removed from major knee surgery, will begin Miami Dolphins training camp on the active roster, a friend told the Miami Herald.

There was some concern he would open camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list — which would make him unable to practice — but Dolphins doctors determined he is healthy enough to practice in the near future.

the stars are aligning little by little. Brady, Albert, Mathis soon

I think I'd have him in a redshirt and only doing positional drills and rehabbing on the sidelines during contact drills. I'm not sure I'd even play him in the preseason.

they should take it very slow here...only goal is to be ready for week 1...

Good man!! Hopefully he doesn't experience a ton of pain every game when he's back.

let the man do his pimp walk until week one. let him recover and let us see what our backup plans can do.

I would maybe give him a series or two in the dress rehearsal game. Other than that there isn't much of a point in putting him out there.
