Fat Albert needs to find himself better friends...
-A friend that loves the game of football, and willing to give his all for.
-A friend that wants to be part of the team, not a player allowing a team to be part of him.
-A player that actually get excited when a teammate score a TD to take the lead in a game, not a player wondering why he was not targeted instead of the guy that made the play.
Seriously, do you even know if any of this is the case? You are taking one instance from an eliminated team that underachieved this year and a player got frustrated in several games in which the team went in another direction with their game plan and he got upset about it. By all accounts, and by the actions of his teammates defending him . . . mike Wallace loves football, wants to be apart of the team and even celebrated with his teammate after the TD was scored. What he complained to the coaches was vented frustration that more than likely cost the team games earlier in the year . . . and judging by our 8-8 record and missed playoff berth . . . he could have a point. Go ahead and defend Joe Philbin, the guy who can't take criticism from anybody beneath him without making them disappear from the team . . . . this will continue to be a mediocre franchise under his direction for that type of mentality.
What Mike Wallace did at that instance was wrong . . . but I just find it hysterical that people are making that their judge, jury and execution to get him off the team. But I already know the hidden agenda behind most of this, whether people want to admit it or not.
I guess it's easy to pounce on Wallace tho, we missed the playoffs and he makes the most money and there is already a strong dislike for him because he isn't a #1 WR in many minds . . . yet the offense crippled up like a little bitch when he was out of the game in that 2nd half. Yea, let's continue to get rid of key players who talk some and see how attractive that is to respective free agents . . . . newsflash . . . teams pay good players and players around the league are hearing about the foolishness of what is called the Miami Dolphins lockerroom.
This board is so confused that after Legarette Blount had that big game you had people asking "Why we didn't bring him aboard?" . . . many of those people are the same people who want Wallace off the team . . . . heh . . . yea, let's dump a guy who had a moment of frustration and still sat on the sidelines in the 2nd half for a guy who actually walked off the damn field.
Honestly, I don't expect him back . . . nah, that is not the coaches M.O., so many of y'all will get your wish . . . . I certainly hope we have enough sense to find a formidable replacement and ease up some of that dead cap space or this could get real ugly next season.
