Just read that the Saints are shopping him. Should we look into replacing Stills with another former Saint? He's undoubtedly going to cost you a 2nd or 3rd round pick so at first glance I say absolutely not. That being said, if Miami does a better than average job of filling some holes in FA, he has some appeal as a proven producer that is still on a rookie contract for 2 more seasons and you have to at least ask the question as to whether Miami can either sign or draft a better player to replace Stills should he walk.

If we were to trade any premium picks for a WR Id throw my Dan Marino bobble head against the wall and jump on it repeatedly, until breaking down into tears of frustration and grief

But dude, it wouldn't be Dan's fault...

Bad idea! The reports I've read have the Titans giving up their #18 pick in the first round. We might as well pay Stills because we're going to have to pay him more next year since he's on his last year on of his rookie contact! Do we see what's going on here folks, once again Saints will get a return just like what they did with Stills.

If Miami's major need was at wide receiver I'd say yes. But, even if Stills leaves the Dolphins have in-house options with Carroo and Grant. Plus, Landry and Parker is a pretty good starting point. I think Parker will take off this year and Landry is already one of the top receivers in the game.

Carroo may be in Gase's doghouse, but that doesn't mean he can't work his way out of it. I believe Gase was the one who wanted Carroo in the first place, but I could be wrong.

Interestingly, Grant has some of Cook's ability with tremendous speed and playmaking potential. Year two for him is a pretty critical one as he seems like a bubble player to me.

I would definitely pay close attention to the situation and see what he would command

They will either re-sign Stills, sign a lower priced free agent or draft a WR with a 3rd day pick. They can't afford to spend another high draft pick on a WR with all the needs on defense.

He's going to cost you a 1st round pick, and then in 2 years (same year as Parker), you got the same issue we have with Kenny right now.

lol no thanks!

so far, the 18th overall pick. No big deal.

According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, the Titans are the frontrunners to acquire Brandin Cooks in a deal that could send the No. 18 overall pick to the Saints.
"The Saints look like they are intent on rebuilding their defense," Adam Schefter added, and they are targeting a first-rounder to do that. Per Mort, another scenario would involve the Titans sending the No. 5 pick and "another pick or two" to New Orleans in exchange for No. 11 overall. As Tennessee holds the Nos. 5 and 18 overall selections in the draft, GM Jon Robinson is armed to make aggressive moves. The Titans' two biggest needs are wideout and cornerback.

let's just send kenny stills back there with one of our 5ths! i'm sure brees has changed his mind on stills :)
