Remember when we didn't want to trade for him? How's KC this year? Jamal Charles rushing for 100 yards a game and Alex Smith becoming the greatest mistake free game manager since Chad Pennington.

At least we traded for 40 year old 500 pound piece of garbage, Bryant McKinnie.

Jeff Ireland is the anti-christ.....

I wasn't sure about trading a second rounder for Albert and giving him a huge contract. Hindsight being 20/20, it probably would have been worth it ... who knows if the Martin thing blows up if he isn't getting abused on a weekly basis by the opposition.

Fortune favors the bold. Sometimes in sports you need to make big gambles, hopefully after doing all your homework and being informed. The Dolphins haven't done that.

Dante Culpepper was the smart move. Seemed healthier, didn't have to trade anything, just sign him. But Brees was the bold move. Look what happened there.

Yup, if your OL is hot stinky garbage your team's got little to no chance to win. But what's amazing is that this site has so many ball watchers that just do not understand just how important having a good OL is :-(

Kansas City didn't want them to check out Albert's back or even talk to him. That's the main reason the deal never went down. I don't like Ireland but I can't kill him on this one.

1. McKinnie is not the issue.
2. Albert should have been traded for...I was a big proponent.
3. No more "cornfed" garbage from people around here.

I learned two things from FinHeaven posters last summer: 1) You don't have to have good or great players on the offensive line. It's all about having the zone-blocking system in place 2) It doesn't matter who your starting cornerbacks are when you have Wake, Jordan, Starks, Odrick, Soliai, Misi, Ellerbe, and Wheeler pressuring QBs relentlessly.

Bingo.....just fix the damn OL next year period. All that crap from the ball watchers about not drafting corn fed in the first is crap. The Phinz need new players on the OL, everyone except the center is CRAP and need to be replaced. The Phinz can not win with their current OL since the Phinz OL plays like hot sinky GARBAGE. The Phinz pass protection this season has been just AWFUL...most of the time it's been too painful to watch at the end of games :-(

Yup the ball watchers in general make no since IMHO.....Football 101, if your OL is hot stinky garbage your team's got little to no chance to win. I guess that was a faulty lesson you learned IMHO

Yeah....I remember a nice argument I got in about how Miami "held all the cards"...I bet KC is just pissed right now that Ireland forced them to keep Albert....
