Brandon Boykin

Miami should sign Leon Hall, then wait til cuts down to 53 to see if a RB gets unexpectedly released.

I think he's dealing with a personal issue or something off the field. Carolina just signed him like a month ago and for them to cut him says there might be something else there.

It would be like if we cut Jones next month.

Agreed. It just doesn't make sense. I wonder how often teams consider trying to trade a player that is having off field issues.

I remember our front office had a black eye for a while after we traded Bess shortly before he lost his marbles.

Coaches want big tough corners, so going to say no to signing one of the smallest corners in the league. Plus somethig has to be wrong if a team that just let their franchise corner walk is cutting a corner.

The back injury is still in question, and has caused pause from other teams, including Atlanta. If you were to sign Boykin it would be for the slot.

Signed in March by the Panthers to a 1-year deal, released in May after the drafting of 3 CBs...but he must be awesome so Miami should go after him. I mean if any one of our DBs from last year had a season like they did for another team and then got released there would be a thread about it here asking if there's any interest...smh.

Played for the Steelers, who needed corner help, and barely saw the field.

Signed by Carolina and released before any games were played.

Philly was quick to cut him loose.

There's some kind of issue there that isn't publicized. Not interested.

With a research of any issues it wouldn't hurt to bring him in and kick the tires. Worst case scenario is the dirt comes out on him and they pass. This fo has shown they will do just that.

I followed him a lot when he was with Uga.....he had playmaker ability but inconsistent. He can handle return duties well but corner ability just ok

Odd, because he was a pretty highly-rated corner in 2014, if memory serves. I seem to remember thinking he would work well in the slot here under Coyle's scheme.

You know...assuming Coyle actually had a scheme.
