Brandon Flowers

I love him as well. Physical corner and has a knack for interceptions. I want him but I dont think we take him at all.

I would love to get Flowers with our 2nd second round pick. I think he is the physical shutdown corner we need. Great post.

parcells doesnt want thugs. after those pictures on facebook surfaced brings the character into question.

ive been on his bandwagon for a while now.

He is a very good cornerback. Big and physical and has the hands needed to make a big play when a quarterback presents him the opportunity. I've watched almost every VT game the past two years, and Flowers should be no worse than a very solid number two corner in the NFL.

VT's other corner, Macho Harris, is just as talented and will likely be a high pick in next years draft as well.

No No No!! I love Virginia Tech and go to every game! I love VaTech players but Flowers is a for sure No. I just dont think he will be effective at the next level. He had a great junior year but faded his senior. Anyone that knows about VaTech defense know its not the players it Bud Foster. He plays the schemes that fit his players. Flowers is a physical corner but had to use his speed to get him out trouble a lot. In the pros that will not be a difference maker as his 40 is not blow you away. He will be a 2nd tier corner at best and we have that already in W. Allen. I just dont think his character would fit well on BP team however he is from Florida so that might give him a sudden change in attitude. I just think we can do better earlier in the second than him. However if we do take him I will finally have a Hokie in Miami other than Druckenmiller and ******* lil Vick.

I think we should take a look at D. Brown. A former tight end and big guy at 300 lbs, he would be a great addition on our line. He blocked 3 or 4 kicks this year on special teams as well. He is a high character guy who switched to the tackle position and took on the change very well.

C. Ellis is a fierce pass rusher with a constant motor. He look alot like JT and would be a good olb/de that has experience in pass coverage. I think it was agianst UNC this year where he stepped off the line in the flats picked one off and took it the house. He was also my favorite Hokie.

I would say Adibi but we all now about him nationally so I wont take time to go into his qualities

PS we are getting embarresed by UNC right now in baskerball..... poor freshamn better remember this in the offseason....:(

Would love to get him in late second rd.

what pictures?

He had pictures posted on his personal Facebook of cash and a "white substance" that looks like cocaine from what I heard. He has downplayed the report though saying it was his friends or he didn't know what that was (somewhere around those lines).

Oh I see... Thanks.

Not only is he overrated, he's inconsistent and an offense that runs good play action or wideouts that use head fakes and double moves will have him in fits.

The off field issues would also be a huge concern. Considering the quality CB field, I'd suspect it highly unlikely that Jeff Ireland drafts him.
