I just think the size thing is overblown IMO.....if a guy can play he can play...
I think it's more important to be able to make yourself small to get the edge on a lot of these NFL tackles....be a smaller target...
Many of the best rushers in the NFL (Dwight Freeney, Elvis Dumerville, Lamarr Woodley, James Harrison, etc..) are all 6'1" or less...
Guys like Clay Matthews, Brian Cushing, Joey Porter (in his prime), Leonard Little (in his prime), Trent Cole, Osi Umenyiora, etc....none of them are over 6'3"....
Ideally, you'd love to have the 6'4"+ guys like Demarcus Ware, John Abraham, Brian Orakpo, Jared Allen, etc....that can play football....but that's not always the case...
I think it's absurd to leave a player off your draft board based on height and ignore what the guy can do....
I can understand it a lot more at the QB position than I can the linebacker/DE position....
Don't turn your nose up at guys like Brandon Graham and Eric Norwood and leave them off your board in favor of some 6'5" tower with no balance or quickness....
