Brandon Pettigrew

I just saw where the Lions haven't come to terms with Brandon Pettigrew and he's likely to test the market. As far as TEs go, he has the reputation of being a very good blocker and he can also catch the ball. I was impressed by Charles Clay's improvement last season, but maybe Pettigrew would be a good addition. He doesn't have great speed but he's pretty reliable. Welcome your thoughts.

Also, Lions haven't came to an agreement with Bell. I've always liked Bell, I think he's better than Bush.

Birkett also reports that the Lions are talking about a new deal with running back Joique Bell. If they can’t make it happen, they’re expected to tender the impending restricted free agent at the second-round level with a salary of just over $2 million.
