I am an avid watcher of the Flordia Gators and cant help but to bring this up...Spikes is in on every player and reminds me of our own former Gator in Crowder...I hope Parcells and Co. look strong at this kid in the next years draft. He is a prototype Parcells linebacker...big, strong, and physical...thoughts?

I agree he is prob 1st round stuff but i think we need Jenkins at CB from Ohio State.
 
Really? I mean i have seen him play many times (not as often as you im sure) and I think he is going to be better than Crowder. But I would still rather have Rey Maualuga from USC. Does anyone know what his injury was on thursday?
 
We need a corner with top notch man coverage skills....Malcolm Jenkins is not that guy....

Vontae Davis fits the bill...

Also, I like Joe Burnett from UCF.....possibly in the 2nd round.

If Spikes is the second coming of Clowning Crowder....let the Jets or Bills have him....we need a playmaker....Aaron Curry / Wake Forest....underrated....playmaker...
 
I like Spikes a lot, but when I watch him play he seems much more similar to Bradie James than he does Channing Crowder. The way he plays is extremely similar to James, and quite frankly I wouldn't mind having a player like Bradie James on this team. I think he will fall to the 2nd round because of how deep the LBs are this year and I hope we can scoop him up then.
 
HELL TO THE NO FOR MALCOLM JENKINS.

The only distinguished CB's from Ohio State with less hype that actually made a damn in the NFL is Springs, and Clements.

Gamble and Winfield are very solid but JENKINS' HYPE REMINDS ME OF MIKE DOSS OH WHERE IS HE NOW BY THE WAY????
 
spikes is and will be better than crowder. would love to see them playing next to each other.
 
Wait i'm confused, is Brandon Spikes a first rounder or a Channing Crowder type? Cause he can't be both...
