ummm when did the mets choke? Theyve underachieved some years but that is a lot different then choking

I am a Mets fan and yes, we have choked in the past few years. It seems that we are in decent shape toward the end of the years and then play our worst baseball. Look at the end of season records the past couple fo years, and it shows that we haven't finished strong lately. But this year I feel that the Mets can take the division, as long as our 4,5 pitchers can put in solid starts. I can't wait until Bannister is healthy again.

I respect atl a ton for what theyve done but their staff looks to be 1 sp short (unless you actually believe Ho Ram or Thompson is that guy), a couple relievers, and a big bat. Not insurmountable especially for a team with so much resiliancy but difficult in a year in which we know the mets offense is legit, tom glavine has reinvented himself to the point where hes pitching inside to batters in ways hes never done, Pedro being Pedro, and their pen being the best in the league....ok so im done boasting but really with atl being as good as they have for the last 14 its been a difficult time to be a nym fan. i liked atl's mid-early 80's teams better. go back to losing a 100 a year please :)

This is the Braves division again as long as Bobby Cox is in the dugout they will keep winning it to win it again this year all you need is Bobby Cox but a closer they should go after.
