Don't count us out yet. We still are here. Win 1 in Houston and I'll be in Atlanta for game 5. Bring it on.

You have to love Smoltz, hes one of the alltime great postseason pitchers. Certain hall of famer. Goes to the bullpen because his team needs it, totally unselfish team player. Im not a Braves fan but you have to love this guy.

Smoltz is probably the only guy I like on the Braves....He does whatever is asked of him....nice win by the Braves.

I figured the Braves were going to win this game. As great as Roger Clemens is, he's not a big game pitcher like a John Smoltz, Curt Schilling, David Wells or Andy Pettite. He was terrible in Boston (he had absolutely no guts, faking a blister in the WS vs. the Mets in '86 and getting thrown out of a game in 1990 against the Angels). Also people forget that he bad against the Red Sox in Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS and also Game 7 of the 2004 NLCS.

Everyone talks about how Greg Maddux is bad in the playoffs but Clemens isn't too far behind him.

This is virtually a must-win for us in Game 3. If we can get the series back to Turner Field with a split I will be happy. Jorge Sosa has also been virtually unstoppable on the road this year (9-0), Maybe I didn't just jinx him!!!

I would like to see a Astros-White Sox World Series....the Astros have never won the World Series and they have had some good teams and players over the years...it would be nice seeing Biggio and Bagwell getting one.....the White Sox have waited since 1917,,,,back when Shoeless Joe Jackson was playing...they are really overdue.

Damn, we lost 7-3. Oswalt pitched lights out though. Our top 2 in the order aren't doing anything this series. Furcal and Giles need to get their a$$e$ on base because Andruw is hitting lights out. Well, maybe Hudson will be on the mound tonight to try and bring the series back to Atlanta.

sooner or later braves fans will have to deal with the fact that they are the buffalo bills of Major League Baseball...except they were fortunate to win a ring for once.

I do think its unfair for people to label the braves the Buffalo Bills or whatever else they say. They did win a world series, they have been champions. Can't take anything away from Atlanta, they have been a great team for so long and have won a title.
