Braylon Edwards: Dolphins lied to me and used me

I think he should stop crying about it. Unfortunatly that is just business. Happens every day!
 
does anyone know off hand about how much the salary is different between the 2nd and 3rd pick?
 
If I were Edwards publicist or his father, I'd tell him to shut up. He's starting to sound more and more like a crybaby. He may be so immature that he is still wound up about it, but it doesn't do him any good to advertise that fact.
 
:cry: :cry: Would you like some tissues Braylon? What the heck does he expect? The Dolphins were trying to create buzz for the pick and couldn't get anyone to trade up for it so they lied to Edwards. This is not an uncommon practice in the NFL or the world in general. Our own president lied to every American about "information that Iraq has WMDs" and so we ran off to battle there at the cost of over 1000 (and counting) of our soldiers. Based on the high success that Browns 1st rounders have had since the team was reborn I am not concerned about Edward's threat that the Dolphins will pay for not taking him.
 
He definitely sounds at list a bit soft. That's one thing, to the poster who said he's the 2nd coming of Randy Moss, you might wonder about. Randy may be skinnier than most of the girls you've dated, but you wouldn't hear this kind of whine out of him. Sure he'll mow down meter maids, and get kicked out of schools, but he's got some nads down the sideline.

This guy just doesn't sound like he's got the toughness, and maybe more importantly, the intelligence:

All his whining just shows that he is a crybaby and I for one am glad we picked R. Brown instead of him. It's a business Braylon, get used to it or your gonna have a hard time in the NFL!
 
What's this, a team trying to hide who they really want in the draft? That never, ever happens. Boo Hoo Edwards go back to bustville with Tim Couch and Cortney Brown.

Welcome to the NFL Edwards! Wait until they start with your contract and say why you should not be paid so much!
 
I don't understand, what did the fins tell Braylon? He never quotes them. What did we say "we want you", 'if things go well you'll get you", "you look good in aqua and orange" "we will pick you and only you no matter what no matter who, we are using the #2 to chose you in the 2005 NFL draft without question". I mean come on, without the exact quote, Braylon could simply be a broken ego mad about not being chosen after 'assuming[' the fins would select him because we liked hi as well as Ronnie.
 
Hold up here fellas ! Braylon is a top notch wr and with us having ricky, lamar, kay jay, and morris ,could it be that maybe we did this kid wrong via speilman or could it be that just maybe this kid really wanted to be a dolphin ? besides we should be flattered that a player wanted to join our dynasty .
lets remember that our receiving corp is nothing to brag about just yet and in all honesty we should have drafted braylon and then drafted kay-jay harris : yea the whining is a big turn off and yea he has the makings of a republican crybaby who frets over lost oil profits.
needless to say if he whines about the browns he will surely catch hell ,but this does sound like he is crying over spilled milk .

Yeah lets bank our team on 3 back up RB's and Ricky "Mr. Reliable" Williams!! Yeah, that makes sense.
