Deja-vu. For two straight games we have watched opposing offenses attack the Miami Dolphins’ secondary in the same way. This week, Tyrod Taylor took advantage of a look he saw in the Dolphins’ matchup with the Jaguars when Allen Robinson beat Brice McCain for a huge play up the left sideline. Well, this week Sammy Watkins did the honors.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing twice. For two consecutive weeks, Kevin Coyle has refused to let Brent Grimes shadow the opposition’s number one receiver, resulting in huge issues for McCain. He seems to even be against letting Jamar Taylor, a much better outside corner, play his true position. Coyle sticks to his guns, and it continues to hurt Miami.

IRRC that little habit of his goes back years. But hey its just the scheme that needs to be "simplified more", right jackass?

Dallas Thomas failing to pic up that safety blitz and Tannehill not seeing him sprint in. A lot of our problems can be solved with a quicker release by T'hill but Lazor can't figure that out.

Ideally Dallas Thomas wouldnt suck to begin with.

Well, how about Pouncey looking up as he's coming to the line and pointing out blocking assignments. On that particular pick six play, Thomas needlessly double teamed the DE as they safety blew by him at full speed from an 8 yd sprint. One Dallas Thomas does suck and that requires more of Tannehill. Two, Tannehill should have saw the safety blitz and burned them downfield. Three, Lazor's psuedo west coast offense is a piece of crap and way too easy for DC's to dismantle.

The worst 3 plays were by the offense. You change you whole strategy and take the football instead of deferring. You have to do something on that first series. That was pathetic.

What do you know, neither the Ravens or the Steelers scored on their first possession and their defenses didn't collapse. Each QB had less than 60 yards passing in the first half and are not losing 27-0. How does that happen? Of yes, they field a defense. Imagine that. Do the Dolphins know that is legal?

buffalo put up 41 points on us. It's safe to say our worst plays were on defense.

We could have responded to the first TD? Correct
the second? Correct
maybe the third? Oh we did but it was too late.

Let me educate you on NFL football. Between 5 and 6 TD's are scored in the average game.

It is a race to score 3 TD's first. Most games that will win you the game. When a team scores the first one you have to respond. If you don't you put yourself behind the eight ball. They can score the second one on the next possession and finally the third and game over. Exactly what happened on Sunday and too many Sundays over the last 10 years.

Then we decide to do something on offense. Pathetic. Patriots are laughing right now knowing they only need 2 and average 4.

We banked on the offense by changing our team play. (winning toss and taking ball) then went 3 and out. Defense allows TD and we don't respond. Avalanche.

Neither unit seems to know how to pick up the other at this point.

The OL and defense just aren't good enough.

Glad I spent a zillion dollars (flying to miami, renting car, taking side trip to Key west, eating at expensive restaurants, and buying tickets on 50 yd line ) for an embarrassment of a performance.

Oh man that hurts. If not for Filbin, I might buy into the whispers of beating the Jets, Texans and the next game and getting to 4-2. I just don't think these coaches know what to do turn this around. They have the personnel, but they can't motivate them to get that Jaw busting attitude that they should have and play with.

At least you got some good food. maybe next time you get the win also.

Will Davis just made a potential game savings play for the Ravens. It just keeps getting worse.

Yeah, I got it while I was actually watching the game but Thanks for edumacating me on NFL football, (of which the arrogant statement got you a thumbs down), but I do just fine on my own.
