Thank God! He is so annoying and ESPN freaks out everytime he says something or makes a decision... I want him to stay on his stupid tractor in Mississippi.
 
Exactly. This makes me happy, about time he stays away and realizes its over. Bell must have knocked the reality into him.

I originally was one who thought GB gave him the shaft when all that happened, but now after watching him for the last two years play this media ego-fest, I'm just glad he's going away. I personally don't think his ego can handle not having the attention on him and he'll try jumping on somebody's team mid-season somewhere. But despite the way Childress seems to ramming the Vikings into rocky waters every year with his horrible decision process on player-personnel, they will be better off without the prima-donna. Good bye and please stay retired BF!!!!
 
I won't believe it until he's been out of football for TWO full seasons. Wait and see, there will be rumors circulating next March that Favre is ready to play again.
 
Thank god. Im seriously going to boycott ESPN for making every show about Brett Favre for the last 6 months. They sat there and followed this whole thing only for him not to come out of retirement? What a ****ing waste..
 
My guess is he's not willing to go through TC. I bet he'll be back by Week 2. God i hate that man.
