To all the media and so called Dolphin fans who continue tobash the fins and look for the worst in everything: Please take a flying leap off a tall buildingand give the mentally stable fans a break from all your doom and gloom. I’m convinced that if the Dolphins were ableto draft a perfect clone of Dan Marino, or clones of the complete 72 teampeople would still be on this site complaining about what a bad move itwas. Today you want Manning if we gethim the next day you will find a reason to bash and argue why we should havetaken someone else. I have been aDolphin fan since I was 3 years old making it 41 years now and never have Iturned on my team when things got bad and ugly Call me a homer but I root and support my team regardless of thesituation and always hope for the best. Most of you come on here and talk as though the people that are runningthe team are complete idiots who don’t know anything about football. You all speak like you are the experts andnot the people who actually get paid millions of dollars to do the work. Please make it stop! If I was a free agent looking to come toMiami, it’s not the management that would keep me away it’s the fans and themedia. As a player I would want a fanbase that is supportive and stands behind their team not one that finds faultin every move the team makes. I live inConnecticut and stream Miami sports radio in my car and I ever hear positive storiesabout the Fins from the casters or fans. I hear more positive crap about the Jets in Florida than the Dolphins. Do you really think that the Dolphins brassdoesn’t care, or are not trying to do what is best for the team? Sometimes S@#T happens and things don’t gothe way you had planned and you have to move on and make the best of it. The Dolphins need to fix a decade of badmojo. You can’t do it over night. Give Philbin and his staff a chance beforeyou give up on the team on the first day of free agency. We were all happy with Philbins hire, he iswell respected by the NFL community and comes well endorsed, let him build histeam and instill the winning attitude like the one found in Green Bay. As fans, and media personnel we can’t scrutinizeevery little move or non-move and call it S$@T until all the pieces are assembledand we see the final product. WE DON’TKNOW WHAT IS GOING ON BEHIND CLOSED DOORS!!!!! AND IF I HEAR ONE MORE SHMUCK TWEET ABOUT ANINSIDE SOURCE WHO SAYS THIS OR THAT I’M GOING TO FREAK. Ithink that the people whose jobs depend on the success of the team are doingeverything they can to make this team better. Nobody dedicates their time, money and energy looking for failure. So get a grip people and stop being so damnegative. Look at some of the positives. We have a new coach who knows what a winningteam looks like; we dumped a loser (team cancer) WR who dropped more touchdownsin two years than he caught, no morefist pumps after field goals, call it rebuilding or re-tooling we are at leastheading in the right direction (we will defiantly be better than 6-10 thisyear), Brady’s not getting younger, wecould all be Jets fans, we havethe hottest cheerleaders in the NFL, and oh yea we still might get our QB. If we want our team to change maybe the fansneed to change too. I miss Dan Marino,and The Don too but we need to move on and look forward not back. Let’s be the fans that players want to playfor not the ones they run from. Reputation starts with perception. Positive breeds positive…..
