Breaking News: Andy Alleman traded to Chiefs

The Chiefs have reportedly acquired G Andy Alleman from the Dolphins.

The cost was likely a late-round draft pick. Alleman was bench-bound in Miami, but the Chiefs need all of the help they can get on the offensive line.

the Chiefs are desperate for OL help and that move gives them two more pre-season games to bring Alleman into the system. i'm happy as can be we got something for him.

Here is the thing we already have the Chiefs' 7th round pick in 2010 because of a draft day trade. So, if this is for a late round pick, it means it is at least a 6th round pick in 2010 or possibly a 2011 draft pick. We shall see.

Watch out for more cuts than expected to bring in talent cut on other teams. I was watching the GB game and the announcers kept going on and on about the depth they have, specifically on offense. They said their whole flight to GB was filled with scouts. Who was the first team they mentioned with scouts at the game? You guessed it, the Miami Dolphins.
