Breaking News on LB Michael Barrow.........

no need for old washed up players. Besides, he would take playing time away from some of the younger guys that need experience like crowder and pope.

huh????? bull $hit we have ricky williams =1800+in one season we have gordon morris harris kay jay minor if you ask me we are ok in lb wr and rb where this team is hurting the most is cb that is what we need to focus on and try to get and the only other is qb but we might be ok this year if we are going to give aj one more year to step it up but as of now i think our main con is getting a cb
 
If we go after anyone, it should be a CB.
 
The weakest position among the starting 22, is center, IMO. Don't think there are many options out there though. I'd like to see Rex moved over and St.Clair inserted at RG. That would be a better overall line.
 
Barrow was out all of last year and it doesnt sound like a sure bet that he will be able

to play this year. I agree, that we should let the young guys play and get them

some experience and see what they can do. At least see if they are going to fit into

the Defense we will be running.
 
I think this is the end of the road for Barrow. He had a solid career.
 
why not take a look at him if he's going to come cheap?? If he's good enough to beat out pope and crowder than he deserves to play in front of them. He adds more expierence to our linebacking corp and GREAT insurance in case of injury. In our system you can never have too many linebackers.
 
you bet I take him if he comes for the min.....besides George Edwards was his DC for a bit, so the team will certainly have an inside track if they want him...that's a big IF though. Edwards may not think he's a good fit, only edwards knows right now.

He could take Corey's spot as I don't think he's got the size that Saban wants at LB.

Of course if we don't sign him, I won't pull a "MANNY"!

I agree we have nice components, but we're not set because of Ricky's suspension. If the right solution (good and cheap) presented itself for the start of the season, I imagine they'd take it in a heartbeat.
