I'll bet this is what happens: Frerotte warms the QB chair until Saban can extablish confidence in Rosenfels with the first team. Then Sage starts at some point, probably by about the third game.
Or; we pick up a veteran QB off waivers to supplant Gus by Monday - then the same scenario, except Gus would warm the chair for the new guy.
But under no circumstances does Frerotte finish the season as our starter.

Wow, I mean, I wanted this to happen, but I didn't think it would. Actually, I didn't want this to happen. I wanted someone ( ANYONE ) to step up and take charge. Maybe I should go back to watching Omar Jacobs finish up to see someone hit receivers deep and whatnot.
Like I have been saying though, Saban has no vested interest in Feeley. He is on the team so he does to a certain point, but he isn't the one who traded for him or gave him that contract so it will be easy for Saban to get rid of him and say, "Hey, I never really wanted him in the first place."
