If Aj is a 3rd string QB on the Phins, I wonder if he can even play on another team. He had a terrible preseason game vs Atlanta, but he wasn't that bad the other games.

Yes I was thinking the same thing. Why not save ourselves the money. We now know AJ isnt going to be our QB now or anytime. Just sign someone with potential for less money as our 3. Not to mention AJ is probably upset and might just bring the team down if he starts to complain.

Considering everyone on the roster sucks, yes.

Still, there was noone worth investing in the draft either.. Maybe Frye in the 2nd, but I dont know.. Im just glad we didnt take one of the over-inflated scrubs Smith or Rodgers.

lol damn that's the funniest thing i have heard all day after last weeks performence aj deserves to be third string i really wish sage would have gotten the start though.

Im just glad a decision has been made and im ready to back it for the time being.

Im going to throw out my guarantee already.. Gus wont be starter come Week 5. Sage will probably get a shot somewhere along the line if he is the new backup.

Is it really that far fetched to believe that Sage would beat out Feeley given that these guys are all competing on a level playing field come training camp? Sage is a more gifted QB than Feeley in every aspect.

Given a chance to show his stuff, Feeley starts, completes 4 passes, and throws a pick 6.. Parcells would have just cut the guy... I like Feeley but give me a break..

Exactly. AJ was given a chance by Saban to attain the starting job in the last preseason game. With a starting job and possibly his career on the line what does AJ do? Stink it up big time. Saban now sees AJ as a mental midget, thus the demotion to 3rd string. I agree with it completely although I was an AJ supporter, but I too now believe the guy simply doesn't have the mental capabilities to be a consistent starter in the NFL.

That being said, I'm not exactly looking forward to the Frerotte era, no matter how short it may be, and I am hopeful that it will be short.
