Young is likely to be brought back after the first week of the regular season. Veterans who are on rosters opening day have their contracts guaranteed for the season. Last year Young appeared in all of the Dolphins games and started seven of those.

The Dolphins will also bring back veteran defensive tackle Kendall Langford who was released on Sunday as well. Like Young, his contract would have been guaranteed if he were on the roster opening day.

Makes perfect sense. And the two cuts likely will be two of the quarterbacks. - To me that was Gase's Plan all along.
Really starting to think Falk might be here just for titan info - This is a smart strategic move on Gase's part. Smart

I think we are going to see some crazy things happen in the next couple of days. We have faith and optimistic hope. GO DOLPHINS!!!

They might also keep FALK and place him on the PS. If he clears waiver claims. Cut Pittman and add Falk. We'll see. Interesting.

I knew something was up their sleeve. Keeping fales and osweiler both on active roster is asinine

Actually only need 1 cut.
We are at 52 with with both Hull and Brendeil on short term IR.
So one of Osweiller or Fales will be gone.
I figured as much. One of the QB's would be jettisoned. Which one depends on Gase. They may try to sneak Falk through waivers, but, my guess he stays on the 53 and Gase cuts with one if Fales or Osweiler.

I think Gase is right keep them both. The Ravens did it and so did so many others teams carrying 3. Its a trend now.

I always wonder what it looks like when the team signs a guy for info on their previous team... Must be a very awkward atmosphere especially if the guy knows he'll get dismissed a week or 2 after that...

Wonder who we are going to cut..Falk/Swanson/Tanner/Brock/Fales?

My guess would be Tanner if DVP comes back Sunday & I dont know who else.

Man I'm watching Falk's career highlights Wash St. 2nd time and I definitely see a kid worthy of a "developmental spot" on the roster... Really like his quick release, excellent touch, maybe his arm is not a cannon but he seems capable of all the NFL throws. He shows good pocket awareness and finds a way to keep looking downfield and make plays. Hit's he receivers in stride (shorter to mid range) and seems like he can put the ball into some pretty tight spaces. Maybe I'm missing "something" because highlights are just that -- but watch and see what you think.

I'd be curious what some of the "talent evaluating gurus" think of this kid...

That said, I'd expect we still keep 3 QBs -- prob Ox has #1 backup and Falk for development. Just thinking the kid would get claimed if we waive him in hope of PS.

Also, you figure you would get a reputation talking about your last team. That could be a problem, especially for a journeyman player.

I would assume that players don't actually give up any info.
