Moore looked good, Henne looked rough but settled down.

Sounds like you need to get a grip, we all understand the situation very well.

All we are saying is that contrary to what the organization is putting out, and what the shill writers are pushing, at this point there should be open competition at the QB position.
 
How come other teams look like they have a clue in the preseason? But when Miami looks terrible it becomes...."just the preseason"

Other teams seem to look like they know what they are doing, isn't it "JUST THE PRESEASON" for them too

These guys are just critics, nothing posistive ever comes out of their pie holes, they don't even look at the fact that the fins even won the game, "You play to win the game" but that don't matter until the regular season.

I suggest... if you didn't catch it.... watch Tomlin rip the effort of his team (not players) in their game.... in other words.... their play wasn't acceptable... the standards are higher.... on here it was suggested I become a Steelers fan... nice mentality...

The bar is set so low... the excuses so deep.... the behind the scenes plays for HC's and QB's so transparent.... people... there's a problem here... so breath all you want.... but don't expect the be in the playoff's... this thing isn't going to be fixed in 3 weeks....
 
The last few weeks, how many threads were there about which FA receiver the Dolphins should go after? Now, after one pre-season game we see that there are 7 WR's with talent and the question is can they afford to keep 6 and which one should get cut. Just goes to show that opinions can turn on a dime.

This is a shot at the bow of Finheaven's moderator and administrator corps. These kinds of threads belong in the Depths, if not removed from the board altogether. You guys are sitting idly by as these guys are killing the atmosphere of this board. You all know who I'm talking about.

I've been here for six years and it has NEVER, EVER been this bad. Even during the Cam Cameron year it wasn't ANYWHERE this bad.

It's absolutely disgusting. And I'm tired of seeing this stuff on here every day.

I hear ya man! If we got rid of the 5 or 6 immature malcontents that have ruined this board, there wouldn't be the "blind optimist" posts. Then we could just go back to discussing Dolphin's football. Mods send them to the depths. Let them whine and cry and try to pat their broken egos over there!
 
Thing that really makes me laugh:

The fact that many of the people now bemoaning about the "Henne haters" were demanding we trade for Kyle Orton just last week.

Jcane hit it dead on, we are not reinventing the wheel. This is the same team as last season, they played the same, and got roughly the same results. People aren't upset because Henne made mistakes, they are upset because he is making the same mistakes that he did 3 years ago. This is really unsurprising, though it is disappointing. I believe everyone on this forum wanted Henne to improve.
We all want this team to get better. Some have gone through the process of figuring out what went wrong last year and wanting to improve it. Others starting predicting 2011 playoff berths 2 minutes after the week 17 Patriots game. This forum isn't set up for one and to throw away the other. This team was truly something awful friday and i dont see whats wrong with people talking about it. Lets face it, its not like they are lying. If you dont like the particular thread, dont click on it or read it.
 
And there should be but there's no reason to SUCK FOR LUCK. Pre season is designed for 2 things. To show you where you are and what you have. Here's what we know;

Henne is still a ?
Mooore looks good against 2nd & 3rd team D
Devlin has poetential

Now if they look bad in all 3 quarters of the 3rd pre-season game, then we need to worry. Until then we don't really know anything.
 
And if they do look bad in the third preseason game it's only the preseason.

If they all look bad in week four there's still more than half a season to play.

If they look bad by week ten there's still some time for improvement and let's end the season with some positive for Henne.

And if he throws five picks in the final week of the season, he still needs more time to learn in the new system.
