The Thread says "We have had details talks with Peyton," so unless Ross and Ireland shared the plane ride back to Florida with Peyton that means we would have talked to him before he became a free agent.

Not to rain on anyones parade but the ticker said "Dolphins have had detailed talks about the possibility of bringing Peyton Manning to the club"... Nothing about us having spoken to Peyton... Nothing new here
 
I seriously don't believe Manning would have spoken to the Dolphins before officially being released. Just not his style.

This guy is different then most athletes. He truly loves the game and wouldn't do anything to tarnish it or his image.

Now, do I think he's spoken to other players about playing in Miami? Sure. But that's different than having a conversation with the Dolphin organization.
 
The funniest thing is reading comments on the Gang Green (Jests) fan forum. Many of them think if the Phins get Manning than Woody Johnson (their owner) will do everything to move up and get RG3. :chuckle:
