and then you have

This guy is different then most athletes. He truly loves the game and wouldn't do anything to tarnish it or his image.

Now, do I think he's spoken to other players about playing in Miami? Sure. But that's different than having a conversation with the Dolphin organization.

Same reason Manning won't end up in a Little Green Airplane Jersey. Has nothing to do with his brother. Has everything to do with the way the guy is wired.
He is and always has been one of the very classiest of all pro athletes.

(Even though he said during the presser that “I haven’t thought about where I’ll play," we're guessing he has.) Which might explain this bit of news: according to CBS Miami, Manning arrived in South Florida via private jet Wednesday afternoon.

"FYI, Peyton Manning is on the ground, he landed at Opa-Locka Airport and just got off his plane just before 4:30 p.m.," CBS Miami posted on its Facebook page. "Not likely to sign today, he owns a condo down here."

In Mannings interview with WSVN he slips and says his agent has had teams calling him. He then quickly recovers and says that he hasn't talked with his agent because he has been on the plane.

Reading the Gang Green message board is just great... Talks from honestly thinking they can get Peyton to firing the GM immediately following us signing him to dumping Revis. Perfect.
 
MANNING has reportedly been seen in JOE's MANY times. He apparently is a stone crabs addict, like so many of us down here. There's NO PLACE to get really great stone crabs other than MIAMI.

Food can be a BIG recruiting agent! So can the beach! Arizona has NEITHER. Imagine tons of sand w/no fresh seafood and no ocean!!! It's almost enough to make you not want a cold one! someone screwed up royal as it showed all day that the finz have had detailed talks about bringing manning to the club.

the ways this is worded with breer is they have had detailed talks WITH manning about joining the club.

the finz have talked BETWEEN THEMSELVES about bringing manning in, they didnt say they had talks with him as that WOULD be tampering.

someone either oopsied on this title or is trying to get a poop storm started.
 
Watching that interview, it really sounds like Peyton was trying to not say the team he wanted. He smiled every time they said "South Florida"
 
As NRA says above: the NFL network ticker states that "the Dolphins have had detailed discussions ABOUT the possibility of bringing Peyton Manning to the team". The ticker DOES NOT say that the Dolphins have had discussions WITH Peyton Manning (I just performed a rewind on my DVR to confirm this wording on the ticker).

So, the ticker is only saying that the Dolphins have internally discussed the possibility of adding Manning.
