Football is much more fun to watch when you have a legitimate QB.

Yea i forgot the second one he lost in for some reason but still he has been in the league a long damn time and one superbowl win so people assuming we win a superbowl with him are quite assuming too much.Indy had alot of talent and still one superbowl win so its far from even an odds on favorite if he comes here.

When we had Marino for 14 years, we were still more then a QB away. Defense wins championships. Thats why no name defense went undefeated.

Because we have Reggie Bush, Jake Long, Brandon Marshall and an above average defense. They have Benjarvus Green Ellis, Wes Welker and the 2nd to last defense in the league. If you cannot see that our supporting cast is better than NE's you are blind. NE beats us because of QB play and offensive philosophy. Nothing more. Acquire Peyton Manning and change the offense dedicated to beating teams through the air instead of grinding out 3 ypc and we are clearly superior to NE.

Funny, nobody told GB or NE about that. They simply drafted elite QBs, put them on teams with horrendous defenses and won championships anyway.
 
Balance wins Championships. Marino needed a running game, now if he was playing no one would care about his running game because the NFL has become a passing league but he would still need one.


Elite Franchise QB's just make it far far easier to overcome your other shortcomings as a team.
