My reason for worry is that he met with our guys earlier. If he hadn't talked with us, and wanted to see what we were offering, he'd likely visit us before accepting any offers. Basically I see it as being possible that we made an offer today, and talks are heating up with NO today because Brees wasn't too impressed with what we offered him.
 
if he leaves without signing.. then ill relax... otherwise Saints must be offering the best deal so far..

We'll know something by later tonight IMO. He may / may not sign. If he chooses not to, he should be considered ours to lose. Either way, Daunte Culpepper is still sitting there for the taking.....

All I keep thinking is how this affects the draft.
 
That is why I wanted him to visit the Dolphins first like I thought he was earlier in the week. When I heard yesterday that he was going to visit the Saints first, I knew we were in trouble to land him.
 
Unless Brees signs with the Saints tonight he'll be in Miami tomorrow. So it's not said and done yet. I won't be convinced until I hear or see it from a legitimate source. I still get the feeling that Brees is just using my poor ol' Saints to run up his price.
 
you know i would like this guy here but if we cant then we didnt, i know coach saban knows what we need and if he didnt offer better than new orleans then owell, lets move on and go for somebody else, i like that quaterback from clemson. plus i dont think k.collins is that bad if we have to go that way.
 
every year some moronic franchise goes way overboard and ruins things

although the Lions did save us from overpaying for Woody, I loved them for that

Yeah I like Collins and by the way I like your avy I would kill a teenager to if they spit on my shoe.

Why wouldn't it be heating up?? I mean, he didn't go there because he likes shrimp creole.

The Saints will give it their best sales pitch. If he's truly interested in Miami also he'll be there tomorrow.
 
This always happens. Damien Woody a few seasons ago. Was projected to go to Miami, then he went to visit the Lions before us, and never got to Miami.
