Brees getting franchised?!?!

wanted to know if anyone can clear this up......i was out tonight with a friend of mine who is a jets fan, and he said that he heard today that the chargers were thinking of franchising drew brees, has anyone heard this?
 
Just a jets fan trying to worry a fins fan

I havent heard anything of it


EDIT- Oh yeah duh the deadline for it is passed anyway, I had a dumb moment
 
The deadline to franchise players has already passed.

He's full of it.... he's just saying that becasue he knows we are gonna sign him.. hes trying to get you upset.

Too late...that deadline passed last week
 
Its too late for them to Franchise him. The deadline for Franchising a player was last week. Only thing the Chargers can do to keep him is sign him to a mult-year deal before Friday(which won't happen).

Still though, even with Brees as a FA we probably are no longer the main contendor for him.

Why would you think that Nubs? Im sure we still are...where else do you see him going if not Miami?

You can franchise someone as much as you like and as many times in a row as you like..

Baltimore and Detroit are said to be targeting him. Minnesota is also a possibility. I would think Miami would be the most appealing to him, but stranger things have happened.
 
whats your reason for that nub??? who you think is at the top o the brees list?
