brees really missing a year?

maybe Culpepper because of his knee, but I heard Culpepper would just miss the first half of the season. Brees maybe because of his shoulder doesnt want to end up like Pennington.
 
he was angry that the Chargers were worried about his shoulder and said if he had to sit out he'd still help the younger guys.

The thing about Brees is, the Chargers want him to stay. HOWEVER, there is something really fishy about his shoulder. Its not as healed as everyone says its to be. His doctor, the one who's been making the media rounds is an agent that Condon does a lot of "business" with. What has me concerned, or actually has me feeling better about the release is that there is NO ONE in the Chargers organization, and the Chargers official doctors/medical group that says his shoulder is fine. There was an article that was written a couple of days ago that he might not be ready for the season.

So once again, he's a very good QB. However, that shoulder is very "iffy."
