I was just wondering since I haven't been on here in a while. I wonder how many of us wish we had Bree's instead of Culpepper. Or when do we pull the plug and insert Harrington.

Now is not the time for regrets.

Behind this o-line and with this OC, Harrington won't do any better than Pepper IMO

Harrington, Brees, Manning, Manning, Palmer, Brady, Grossman, etc...none of them would do any better, and most likely worse, then Culpep with this O-line. The ONLY QB you can convince me that would be better than Pep in this offense is Vick. The only reason he would do better is because he would run 90% of the plays..

I wanted Brees before and i still want Brees now. Overall i think that he is the better QB because he is accurate, smart, and he's a natural born leader. Culpepper had the advantage of mobility(Which he dosen't have again Yet) and throwing the deep ball(which he can't anymore because he's always getting sacked and he's afraid to step into his throws) and now he has neither. When i herd that we signed Dante i was definately disapointed because after we had passed on Brees the first time we were going to correct the mistakes of the past. I still think Dante is getting better and he can still be a starting QB in this leauge but it's going to take some time. It's like he has to relearn how to play football almost.

the best option would be beat the crap out of Mularkey until he says ronnie gets 20 or more carries a game and start joey because dante is affraid to throw downfield whenever he sees a defender within four yards yes i know the line is bad but its not everyplay he has a defender in his face and when hes not pressured he still dumps it off... 8 catches for a rb is too many

Joey the sooner the better. Culpepper needs to be shelved for the rest of the year and locked in a filmroom watching defensive schemes and how quarterbacks attack them in under 5 seconds

I wish we would have tried to draft Jay Cutler of Vandy.

I'd still go Culpepper, Brees has a much better offense around him in New Orleans. But he's a great QB. I just dont like that whole shoulder injury of his, i think he's going to break down at some point and i'd rather have a healthy Culpepper. Culpepper's not mentally healthy right now. He's making ridiculous mistakes and playing mediocre football. Harrington wont do any better but this team isn't going anywhere with either guy.

Are people voting culchoker, non fin fans? No one in their right mind would think he is better than Brees, I mean try to be realistic.

and i´ll add that pepper has done a very good job not doing mistakes and getting us close to the win . also brees has a lot better o line than us .

You must be smoking some of Rickys weed. If you dont think Brady, amnning or Palmer would be doing better the culchoker, you are truely delusional.

Brees shoulder is not the problem that Culpepper's on field decision making is. The folks who would still choose Culpepper over Brees are in denial.

Not true. Part of the reason DC has been under pressure is because teams seem to be blitzing the heck out of him. That means they don't respect his ability to make quick decisions.
If he beats a blitz a few times they will play him more honest.
N.O does not have much better talent than Miami especially at WR.
