Favre's been lookin like an old man as of late. I hope we can sack the hell out of him all day. He's been throwin tons of picks too. I think playin in that freezing weather yesterday was better for Miami cuz now theyre gonna go into the Meadowlands and hopefully it'll be in the 40's like the forcasts say. Now itll be like nothin to them. I hope Porter just gets at Brett all day long and never lets up. He was throwin such crappy balls yesterday. It was snowin pretty good but he played in Green Bay he should be used to the snow. We just gotta keep pressure on him and he'll toss one up cuz thats just what he does.

I think our defense needs to work on their tackling this week and get the intensity back up. Yesterday they looked flat and they were doing those pathetic arm tackles. We let Thigpen scramble on us for some big plays and we just kept lettin them move the ball. They didnt have to punt until like the 3rd or 4th quarter. The corners played the deep balls pretty well except for like that one where Porter jumped offsides and they tossed it up.

Ya Favre, when inspired, is a dangerous man. This game is gonna come down to the last drive I think.

Yeah but Favre is going to the Pro Bowl while Chad is not. Is there a reason why they vote for Pro Bowl starters 2-3 weeks before the season ends???

Yeah I don't like how he's been under performing lately ...makes him want to come out and prove the doubters wrong the last game of the season...always happens

Favre is an old man. I hope the game is played in the cold. Favre is more likely to be bothered by cold weather than the younger Pennington. They showed some stat in the Seahawks game about Farve being 0-5 lifetime in games under like 25 degrees.

what scares me is that he's about due for a good game....you can suck all season long, but if you win the big one to catapult your team into the postseason, you're golden in the fans eyes

Sorry, but I couldn't disagree more with your logic on this.

If a player is said to be "due," it means he has been playing bad for a while. If a player isn't "due," he has been playing well. Under these definitions, I'd much rather play a QB that was due.

You really think Favre would want to play well less than he does now if he had played well the last several games? That makes no sense.

Following your logic, we should sign AJ Feely and bench Pennington, seeing as how Feely is due for a big game.

I know I'm exaggerating, but I'm just trying to show the flaw in the thinking of a lot of fans. Nothing personal.

Besides his poorly thrown INTs, Favre has looked slow and immobile. Besides getting sacked four times Sunday, he was hit another 12 times. That's a rough day for a 39-year-old at the end of a long season.

I know it's a cliche to say we need to get to the QB early in just about any game, but I really think it could pay extra this time, if Miami can do it. Knock him down, force him into some mistakes, and besides the usual benefits, you might see the home crowd start to pack it in -- especially if the Pats have already won, and the Ravens are taking control of their game.

The thing about Farve is that he's the gunslinger backed agasint the wall. He, now, remindes me alot of John Wayne in "The Shootist".....Pick your western....Shane......etc...Farve responds when he's backed agasint the wall. It's borne out by his stats.

I know most of you guys don't think there is an old west comparison, but.......It's alive with him.

On Sunday the Fins need to get pressure on Favre. They dont need to sack him, but at least knock him around abit, throw him to the ground, etc. Favre has already stated that this season has taken its toll on him, which for me means he has'nt much left in the tank. If his body is already starting to give up on him then lets finish the job on Sunday with lots of pressure on him.
