Brett favre is done!! What a horrendous game!!

It will only get worse!!

HE has to give the reigns to AAron Rodgers too see if he is the reeel deel QB Cuz I see The pack picking 1st and having a shot to select Brady Quinn!!

Thoughts

My take. He will be sat in the second half in week 2. Favre will announce his retirement in week 3-6.

Why would he do that??? Didn't he say spring that this was the most talented team he's ever been on in Greenbay???? Funny now he wants to go somewhere else now, think he wants to break Marinos record or what?? It's sad he can't walk away from the game with his SB ring tighly clinched, no he has to take records from Marino too, Marino got his records trying to win a ring, Favre is doing it just to get the records, big difference when your in it just for yourself.

Marino didn't break records because he wanted to have the records he did what he did because of the situation he was in and because it was his only chance to get a ring!! Favre has always had a running game,D, Oline and WR's, otherwise he wouldn't have a SB ring!

If that was the case, I would NOT let him retire a Packer. Screw him. He got a ring with them, etc. and now all of a sudden, when he is over the hill, and needs a pro bowl team around him to win, he wants to leave. Go ahead, leave, just dont come back. The Pack did enough for him, and he treats them this way? All the drama in the off season after 28 picks.

Just to chase a record like feelthepain said. :shakeno:

he wont retire till the end of hte season.

but i do think either he or the team will bench him for the younger guy because "its whats best for the team right now".

Yea, i think he finishes out the season with the Packers and the Packers make the decision for Farve to retire when they wont resign him in the offseason.

He's an idiot, thats why he said that. Packers go 4-12 again this year

Farve is disappointing. Just doesnt know when to hang em up. Take a page out of Marinos book. Retire a Packer, you'll lose no shame.

I personally believe that Farve has been trying to get out of GB for a while now in the worst way. The amount of time he took to make that decision was all a smoke screen, I bet he would have loved Gb to cut or trade him.

I don't think Favre is done. I still beleive that he has something left. I'm rooting for the guy; hopefully he can bounce back.

Yeah, me too. But the Packers aren't going a lot to help him. They let 3 veteran solid linemen walk and replaced them with rookies. Then, they trade their best wr. Plus word on the street is that Rodgers is shaky as hell. The Pack are in a lot of trouble.
