Favre also doesn't WANT to play much longer. His wife and family are telling him it's fine to play, go ahead and keep doing it, try to win again for the Packers. He's not like Montana who's trying to glue on and play anywhere he can, or Unitas. Favre has the ring, is closing in on many records (which he says he doesn't care about), and has accomplished so much i dont think he'll hang around long enough for him to be playing at age 40 as the 3rd string Bears QB
