favre is systematically wearing out his welcome very effectivly around the NFL. People are tiring of his act. If he has a meltdown and embarasses all the anyalists that are supporting him. That will be the final nail in his coffin. He should of remained retired and left his legacy in tact. He has now started down a path that exposes him as an embarassment.

I think "Damageing your legacy" stuff is way overrated in general. The ONE guy that is doing it is Farve. I've honestly done a pretty big turnaround on him. I can't stand the sight of him and, it has nothing to do with the uniform.

There is nothing I would like to see more than Favre get embarrassed in the last game of his career. Even if our playoff hopes were not on the game, I would still root for his defeat. He does not deserve an Elway-style retirement, as much as he might think he does.

I feel the same way Goon. I used to think the world of Favre, the way he connected with the fans and went around to the tailgaters before the games. Now he is just #4 for the Jets and will be hated just like any other Jet. Sad.
