Brian Daboll speaks

Time will tell, but Daboll looks a 100% improvement on Henning, our favorite septegenarian. Ireland/Sparano made a good call recruiting Nolan last year, they may have made another in hiring Daboll.

Hate to tell u but Henning ran the wildcat at carolina in 2006. So Lee may have brought up the convo or who knows but its not like Henning was unaware of the wildcat. This formation was used versus Atlanta by carolina because of a qb injury.

I'm not really sure how much time Daboll had to "fix" Henne's mechanics. If Henne really has improved, I bet it had alot more to do with Marshall and the other WR's and their coach free work-outs this summer. Henne's ability to learn may be in the interaction with his peers rather than his instructions by his handlers.
 
I think this guy is going to bring the best out of Henne and our offense. Im really excited to see what he brings to the table and how much Marshall, Bess and Fasano will be in the passing game.

I hope it doesn't lead to too much thinking by Henne and the receivers because we all know that will cause mistakes if they play too ridgid and not fluid it will not look good on the field. This really has me worried now that they're not ready because you can bet, Brady and Co. will probably look like GB and NO did last night. Our Defense is too good for that 30pt game stuff. Not happening. They work everyday to try to make it as fluid as possible. I dont think that will be a problem at all. One thing I know is that the offense will be better than last year and thats huge.
 
football is mental on many fronts. once henne understands offense and knows where everyone is supposed to be and he sees the entire field and can change the play, that means he changes his mechanics. Its in his head now. as opposed to henning being in his head.

Henne has been freed.
