Bro this might be some added incentative for Ireland to continue to do better or he could be replaced as well. I like that it protects the organization from losing him unless it is for a GM job. I think Ross would have to be floored by Irelands job to just let him go, or instead he let's Ireland go.

Gaine was close to getting hired this off season as a GM...I know the Rams had him in for an interview and I think the Colts may have been interested in him as well. These things usually happen where a Director of Player Personnel starts getting interviews, his name gets out there and a season or two later he's the hot name in the business and he gets hired. Brian Gaine and Eric DeCosta of the Ravens will be those hot names in the next two years.
