If we can't get Drew Brees or Duante Culpepper, i was wondering if Brian Griese would be a got fit. I know it didn't work well when he was with us but who did with Wanny and Turner. The guy had success with the Bucs and wouldn't he be a better option than Patrick Ramsey or Josh McCown? I know he wouldn't be a long term solution but I was wondering if he would be our best option???

Personally, I'd take him if we don't get Brees. THe guy is very efficient. He's not mobile (but more mobile than Gus) is very accurate and typically doesn't make alot of mistakes. He's worth a look, IMO.

Sure.

He was a scapegoat and never got a fair chance

Actually, Turner wasn't so bad. But yeah, that's the reason why I want to bring him back in. Wanny made him look worse than me under center, and I can't throw for ****.

So true. He would do well with the current Dolphins team and coaching staff. It's no coincedence that the only place he looked bad was with us during the forgotten era....

I think he would be a better fit than anyone except Brees or possibly Culpepper. And I don't like Culpepper. He has shown the ability to play at a good level, and never really had any chance with Wannstedt hanging on to Fiedler like a security blanket, a line that made a sieve look watertight, and an offensive game plan that wouldn't have worked in high school. He did right well in Tampa Bay, and with Saban/Mularkey would probably do better with Miami this time.

I would take Griese if our other options fail (Brees, Ramsey, Culpepper, McCown in that order IMO). He wouldn't be a bad option to hold the reigns until a drafted QB could be groomed to take over. Trouble is I hear he is going to re-sign with Tampa.

tampa will probably resign him thats what i heard on sirius nfl channel but you you know how the rumors have been flying lately.

Griese was hurt when he was with the Dolphins, he wasn't 100%
I think he would do Great with us.
I would rather have him over Culpepper.
Brees would do Good in Miami too.
Go DOLPHINS..............

dolphins suck i hate them i love the broncos they are awsome oh wait wrong boards...i would rather have culpepper becuase he is a better all around quaterback but i would be more worried about the line.. just a thought

Did you watch him last year? I love Brian, but the guy throws a lot of bad INT's. He is not a guy to take you to a Superbowl. I would take him as a backup though.
