Brian Hartline is overrated

Hartline's not great, but he's not terrible either. I dont see him improving a whole lot on what he has already shown, you could certainly do better than him at he number 2 spot. But he's a good player to have for depth.

EXACTLY!!!!!....The Welker trade is one of the worst trades this team ever made thanks to these morons (and their Lord of Douchebaggery Bill Parcells).
Wasn't Welker traded by Cameron and Co.?

If I had half a penny everytime I've had to explain that we just COULD NOT KEEP WELKER!... I could cover earth with pennies...

But WHY, WHY, WHY within the division to a much better team and a HATED rival????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Y'know.....you might be right there but I thought Parcells joined the Fins in 2007......I may be mixing up my morons (since there are so many to choose from) but the end result always is the same: TERRIBLE DECISIONS, PICKS, MOVES, CHOICES, PLAYCALLING etc.....It's really amazing isn't it????

honestly the guy is a good nfl wr, if im not mistaken joe haden ran a 4.3-40yrd at the combine!!

wow, I guess since public enemy number 1 is gone (channing) some of you need a new whipping boy.

He doesn't get targets because he can't get open and he's not the type of receiver that comes away with the ball when he is covered so the QB will NEVER throw him the ball when he is covered.

Actually he's not targeted because Chad Henn will notr throw the ball unless a guy is wide open in most instances. Just ask BMARSH who was quoted last season as saying, "Thigpen gets it that even when I'm not open I'm open."

I've seen him be overthrown on numerous occasions as well so I wouldn't say he can't get open. Maybe that's because of Marshall and Bess, but I've see him open several times.

This is true. Contrary to popular belief in this thread, Hartline gets open quite often. The reason he doesnt get the ball is because Henne loves to overthrow him as I saw on multiple occasions in multiple games prior to Henne getting him injured by throwing a pass to his outside shoulder when it should have went to his inside shoulder thus getting him lit up by the defender. Henne is more of the problem than Hartline is.

Parcells joined in 2008. Cameron took us to a 1-15 record in 2007. Ultimately anyone could have came in and improved the team from a 1-15 record. Really no where to go but up.

I've been outspoken about Hartline for a while now. It's not about hatred for him though as much as it is not liking the role that he is handed without realistic competition.
