Brian Hartline is overrated

I think Hartline will have a breakout year. With Bush, a new OC and Marshall being double teamed, he just may get quite a few chances.

Im with you guys I like Hartline and think he is underrated think about what he could do in a pass happy offense.

My big issue with Hartline is that he just doesn't scare anyone, no one looks at the Dolphins and says "oh crap, we got to make sure Hartline doesn't shred us today". That would be fine if we were just asking him to round out our attack, but when he's our starter, no thank you.

So you would rather a team plan for you because there scared of that player, let them think what they want and keep on giving him single coverage and pplaying safties on him, all hes going to do is shred defenses! Someone has already posted about the target to catch ratio, and have compared him with his draft peers he has been just as productive if not more, then half of the first round picks from that draft class, which was a loaded class for wr!!

Scaring anyone is the most overrated thing on Earth as defensive coordinators are gonna watch game film to know how to play players, regardless of whether they are "feared" by fans. All that matters is production, and making the plays that win football games.

I'm probably going to get ripped by some on here but in my opinion Hartline should not sniff an NFL starting lineup. He cannot get open vs. man coverage at all. He doesn't win any jump ball battles. He drops too many passes. He still rounds out his intermediate routes. Why is this guy starting? We need true playmakers, chain movers, and scorers on our offense. Why are the Dolphins and their fan base so content with this guy? Do they not realize that in todays NFL you can't have Brian Hartline type of talent starting? Cmon Sparano and Ireland. Wake up!

If what you were saying was true he would have 0 catches for 0 yards in his career. And who again is overrating him?
