I know he is no jordy nelson...but he is pretty solid.if we can't get a better #2,do you all think he can be an 800-900 yard reciever with philbin?or will he forever be just an average joe reciever...

possibly. im anxious to start seeing where philbin goes with our roster and who he starts to like and who he wants to get rid of. . u can kind of tell soon enough.

I think he can. He's got the speed and can make some great catches. I think Philbin's offense will bring out the best in our receivers

I would like the fins to trade up to get Blackmon. He is the type of reciever we need opposite Marshall.
Hartline is a nice player, but I want Blackmon.

I think he can, but we still need to add one more WR, Maybe Mechem. Our Offense is going to require 4 WRs, Marshall, Bess, Hartline and ?. We definently need a better number 2.

So is gates completely out the picture? I hope he can contribute besides being just a kick returner.

Hartline is in no way a #2 receiver. He is a system guy. We need a true #2 on this team

The only comparison between Jordy Nelson and Brian Hartline is that they're both white guys. Jordy Nelson is a great player.

Hartline doesn't deserve all the hate he gets on here. He's not a true great #2, but he's far from awful.

give hartline to brees or brady or rodgers. then everybody here would be saying "what was the fo thinking letting this guy go?" he's big fast and has enough speed to run perfect routes. the guy makes some incredible catches. dolphins dont use him right. what qb wouldnt like to chuck the ball around to marshall, bess, hartline, bush, clay, and the man that doesnt drop passes but doesnt get looked at fasano.

It's funny how a franchise QB makes his receivers look good but average receivers don't make an average QB look good.
