Brian Hartline

My complaint with Hartline is he always falls down catching the ball. Bess falls down trying to run.

Regardless of your opinion on Hartline, getting rid of Marshall yesterday has made us into one of the worst receiving cores in the league. I actually like Hartline and hope that he does well in our new offensive system. Dude makes some pretty incredible circus catches.

Datruth has this one nailed if he really has it we would have seen it by now lets move somebody else up

He has a 15.3 career yards per catch...and its not like Miami has been throwing the ball all over the lot..we did air it out a bit more last year tho.

You are kidding right? Thats the best stat and a reason for us to feel a little more comfortable at WR position?

Like I said, he isn't making it as a #3 on most squads.

he's a serviceable #2 receiver. Other than that, he's not striking fear in the eyes of opposing defenses.

start praying that edmund gates takes a giant leap this year cause if he doesn't this wr core gives the browns and jags and rams group a run for its money as one of the leagues worst...
Oh yeah. It'd be cool if Gates came on strong and became our Victor Cruz. But there is no chance hell we don't sign or draft one or two guys at least

I think we are expecting too much from our receivers. We keep thinking a #1 WR is what we need when in actuality we really don't even know what we have until we get a good QB.

Matt Moore to Brian Hartline  We're in the cellar next year unless something changes. I like Philibin but come on....you don't go from Green Bay's offensive playmakers to this and expect it to work do you.

Without looking at the stats I would bet that his YPC is lower then his TD total.
