This guy is a beast... yeah hes a fullback and if you look at his numbers for 2006 youll think im on drugs... but this guys is amazing.. hes a FB from Rutgers and he gives 110% every play. He is an amazing pass and run blocker... he can catch extremely well out of the backfield (and he had a pretty crappy qb in Mike Teel at RU). He always fights for the most yards possible if he has the ball and he fights to help his teammates get the most yards... he wont rush for 1000+ yards or score 10 TDs but he will help our team tremendously in a lot of areas... Ronnie (and maybe ricky) and whoever the QB is next year will greatly thank the coaches if we get this guy.

depends what we think of Eckel. We have so many more pressing needs but I do think FB is doable. With a 2nd I would take Left Tackle Staley and with a 3rd there some defensive players I would want to look at but its definitely an option

Every mock and draft guru type has this kid going in round 1

can anyone say Rob Conrad??? :D this guy is a clone. nice player, but we have much more pressing needs than this.

Get BL however you can

As you can see from my handle I am a Rutgers Grad and have seen Brian play each and every week. He is a warrior and has the heart to match it. Trust me if we don't take him in the first round ( I know we won't with the 9th pick overall) he won't be around in the second round). Each and every year I pray that we trade down. If we trade down anywhere between the 25th to 32nd spot and can pick up an extra second or third pick then I say pick him up and take an OL and a LB with the next two picks.

Folks, he is a beast. He can carry two and three players on his back. Watch film on him. His "Leonard Leaps" are something to see. He also has great hands and lead the team in catches.

no way at worst hes a 2nd rounder i am also from rutgers you have no idea how much thisguy does on the field... he touches the ball maybe 3-4 times a game now that they have ray rice... but some of the blocks he made were devastating to the defensive players this guy is amazing... i just hope he doesnt end up in the afc east unless hes onour team

if we could trade down and get maybe 1 or more picks in rounds 2 through 4 i wouldnt mind spending a pick on him if he's available, this guy could be a 10 year pro

Leonard is the best player in college football(at his position when compared to others at their position). The thing is, his position is the least valueable position on the field.

I have no clue why this kid didn't make the switch to linebacker years ago, he would have been a first day LB.

Maybe, but we are going to be drafting a LB or two along the way. We were very fortunate in not suffering any injuries at LB last year, other than Pope, our depth there isn't good.
