Brian schottenheimer would be fishers OC?

I should have said this year.

Yes,the Henning offense...so so so bad.

I miss dolphins football. You know the type where we threw the ball a lot and scored points and won games. I feel old saying that because it hasn't happened since Dan.

You haven't had many QB options since Dan and how did that dynamic offense work out for you w/o Henning?

Very unimpressed with a staff of Gregg Williams and Brian Schottenheimer. Talk about lack of creativity and innovation, Fisher really will be Tony Sparano 2.0 here.

I hope he picks the Rams.

Gregg Williams is not creative? lol. He attacks the qb getting off the bus.

I wonder if Greg Williams would recommend the Saints QB COach for OC?

What?

1. Williams is like the Dick Labo (sp) of the 4-3. very creative with his blitz packages and personel. He blitz every and anybody. He would blits the ref if it was allowed.

2. Check your stats, Schotty had Piss poor Sanchez and still threw the ball more the Half the Qb's i the NFL. Sanchez was 9th in attempts. More the Big Ben, Cam. Flaco, and a lot of other QB's. SANCHEZ we are talking about. He sucks and got the call to throw the ball that much. Sanchez was also 15th in yards.
Imagine ifSanchez was any good!!!!!

That would be a very good staff!!. I would hate him as a head coach but as an OC I think he is pretty good. The Jets may have been very basic and boring to watch but look at the players he was working with. Although I do not like the idea of switching to a 4-3 after finally getting this team to a 3-4 Williams is a very good DC>.

This could work out well if Fisher makes up his mind!!!!

I wonder how much of Fisher's postering is directly related to who he can get as a staff to follow him to MIA vs STL?

I know a lot of the media has stated the QB situation is better in STL, but honestly a new coach doesn't want an old coach's QB. No matter how good and young the QB is the new coach didn't draft him or teach him. Loyalty is a funny thing. But I'm pondering the bigger picture. What if he has a better chance of getting his select staff if he comes to MIA?

I think it all factors into the equation: money, staff, roster, owner, draft position and even the city.

Of the many problems Fisher had in Tennessee, I recall the Vince Young vs. Matt Leinart. Fisher and staff wanted Leinart. With Norm Chow as their OC (same guy who coached Leinart most of USC career), the staff saw a familiar QB who could step into their system. Ownership won out and Vince Young was drafted. I think that really become a sore spot with Fisher.

As the posturing has continued, I've actually come to appreciate Fisher's patience. I think he is legitimately looking at the entire situation and trying to decide where can can succeed long term. If he thinks we are the place best suited for him, then not only am I happy to have him as a coach but also happy he believes we have a better front office and ownership compared to another franchise.

This is all JMHO.

even little Schotty has proven he can be somewhat creative in his playcalling.

Oh the quick slants we could run!!!

Honestly, with Bess, Marshall, and Hartline that would be great. Marshall made a living off of quick slants in Denver, nobody can jam Bess at the line, and Hartline did that his entire time in college.

Hell when Little Schotty got to New York, those plays were money for Coles and Crotchery. And Holmes/Edwards aren't bad at it either.

He blitz everybody, linebackers, corners, safeties, coaches, wife, kids, even Jeff Fisher will be blitzing.

I think you have a point. Fisher is not going to just jump into a situation. Something a lot of people did not take itno consideration, before hios release, he was the longest tenured coach with one team. Fisher is in this thing for the longh haul. He wont be here or whereveer he goes for 3-4 years only. so he wants to make sure the situation is right.

Williams is only good if he has the horses and we don't have the horses for his 4-3 defense. 24th ranked defense this year, 4th ranked defense in 2010, 25th ranked defense in 2009, 17th ranked defense in 2008, 8th ranked defense in 2007, 31st ranked defense in 2006...he's been more bad than good ranking in the bottom half of the league 4 out of the last 6 seasons.

What is funny though, despite the Jacksonville stint, you won't hear fans complain about him. It's kind of like the Packers this year. THeir D is horrible this year but none of their fans want to get rid of Dom Capers.
