a little surprising to me given not even bringing him to camp to compete at the slot...must mean the slot job is bobby mccains to lose...I sure hope he gets stronger this offseason and can stay more attached out of cuts
 
I think we finally have a coaching staff that knows talent folks! when this guys was signed, I asked my steelers' fan friend about him. He said he's "good as long as you don't ask him to start". Jamar Taylor and Dallas Thomas next, youll see.

both are very cheap, maybe not
 
Not a surprise, especially on a team full of slot guys. 2.5 million free and only a 1 million hit.

Expecting Grimes, Taylor, Bobby McCain and Lippett to be the four hold overs from last year who are on contracts.

lol they really should start using the word "delays" instead of saves when talking about Suh.

ew theres part a big of me wishes they could give TBaum no choice but to let the GM make a few solid cheap deals and focus on the draft. This is so gunna end in one spashy signing that doesnt fix our problems and a top 10 draft pick .... again

Why not?

I am just saying, this CB market is gonna be dry real fast. Grimes is still a good CB, struggles against big WRs but this team cannot afford to just cut him, the drop off after him is high schoolish.

Sure, Grimes is still a decent corner... if on about half his current deal. He is paid to counter those big wrs.
