This guy was the worst free agent pickup this past offseason. We should have spent the extra money on Buster Skrine. Mccain avoids contact at all costs, he never fills the hole when he has the opportunity. I don't understand what the front office saw in his tape to make them think this guy was going to help this football team. He is a liability in coverage and in run support.

At the 1:33 mark you can see a play where McCain had an opportunity to fill the hole but just waits then whiffs on the tackle. He doesn't want any part of making the tackle just does a good job of acting out there. During they showed a better angle from behind the line a scrimmage. During the same game Skrine was making tackles all over the field.
Mccan is pathetic.
