The more i look at this schedule, the more i begin to like it in a few different ways. Such as:
1. We miss out on 4 west coast trips, so that means they'll have to come cross country before we play them at home, instead of the other way around.
- San Diego Chargers - Week 5
- Seattle Seahawks - Week 10
- Oakland Raiders - Week 11
- San Francisco 49ers - Week 15
2. Between weeks 4 and 12, we only have to leave home twice. So in a 9 week span we have 6 home games, 2 away games and a bye week. This should set up nicely for a little mid-season push.
3. We dont have to play NE in Boston in December like in years past, where we have historically struggled. And we play Buffalo in late November, early December in a dome in Toronto, so the weather wont be a factor.
4. Our 1st game of the season is at home against a not very good division rival team. The first game of the year teams seem to struggle to gel and what not and it could set up nicely for us to get started on the right foot with a win.
5. This sorta ties in with #3, but 4 out of our 8 away games are in domes where the weather should play no factor in the outcome of the game
