That is funny, I got the same response when I posted 2 years ago that we had beat them 3 straight and that we would win the game in 2012.
Worked out pretty good.

We deserve tho beat the Raiders every game after the sea of hands game 40 years ago and the Fielder meltdown in the playoffs a decade ago.

Miami seems to beat the good teams, and lose to the bad teams, more often than not.
 
I never count any game as a gimme. The Dolphins find new and innovative ways to lose.

I remember several Cleveland and Houston games that were suppose to sure Miami wins and somehow we ended up losing the game. Miami got swept by Buffalo last year so anything is possible. As of now I think Miami should beat the Raiders but we shell see how it plays out.

Of course we could lose this game. Bad teams beat good teams all the time, and Miami lost to a fair share of bad teams last year(Buccaneers, Bills, Jets). With that said, it would be surprising if we lost this game, and in recent history the Dolphins have been blowing out the Raiders in their matchups. The Dolphins will be favored in this game and they do sort of have a time zone advantage. While Miami has to adjust from a time zone change from the East coast to London time, the Raiders have to adjust from the west coast to London. A bigger adjustment.

2012: 2-5
2011: 0-5
2010: 2-6

last year was a 1 year thing where you beat good teams and lost to bad teams.

if the Jets were bad then doesn't that make Miami bad since they finished behind us?

They ended up with the same record, though yes the Jets did technically finish ahead due to a tiebreaker. Though looking back at that season, yes the Jets were a worse team, the tiebreaker though might not agree. But there is a reason why the Dolphins ended their season with the heads hanging the and the Jets were celebrating like they just won the Super Bowl. Dolphins underachieved, Jets overachieved.

The Dolphins were favored in that game, and if it wasn't for the Jets upsetting the Dolphins, there would have been a two game gap. At this point though a tiebreaker doesn't erase that Miami ultimately fielded a better team than the Jets during the 2013 season.

But again somehow a thread got derailed into another Jets Vs Dolphins topic when it has nothing to do with New York. Lets get back on topic.

I see a lot of if's and buts, the bottom line is we did beat you in your biggest game in 5 years and we finished ahead of you.

I didn't derail anything, I simply commented on your misinformed comment.

My point wasn't about the Jets, it was about Miami not being able to take any team lightly. you haven't been good in a long time so it's silly to expect to whoop any team.
 
Well done on derailing another thread with your jets b.s. junk. Im glad your life had meaning this week.

It's like you'd disappear into thin air like Marty McFly almost did if you didn't try and convince everyone the Dolphins are a bad team.
