Brock Berlin and KJ Harris

Kay Jay really surprised me. He was the best looking blocking runningback. He looked much less confused than Lamar. That could be because there was much less confusing things happening. Another thing is he was down there on kick offs and punts and made some good blocks on returns. I believe his chance to make the team increased after this game.

they both have upside, both had flashes of something good. talk to me again after the third preseason game.

I sure will man. And im also sure he'll be doing good in that game.. He only touched the ball 4 times. I mean thats not his fault at all..

Against the Bears' 3rd and 4th stringers, they looked real good. Brock's throws looked fairly sharp, but he's definitely a rookie. Would be a good QB to stick in the NFL Europe program for a year.

Kay-Jay looked better than Minor, IMO. But that doesn't really guarantee him much. He may get the practice squad.

I think Kay-Jay did a better job over everybody running except for Morris...

Kay-Jay definitely had the most impressive play among the running backs, with that 20 yard stiff-arm catch over the middle. You can feel that kid's power. I believe Linehan will look for a powerful back he can rely on in goal line situations, and Kay-Jay has a good chance of being that guy...unless Ricky Williams gains 20 pounds of muscle by October...

Um Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams? Why would we need a 3rd string Power back for goal line when both Ronnie and Ricky are power backs?

I liked Brock, I mean Sage, I mean Mike Quinn, I mean Josh Heupel, I mean Jim Druckenmiller, I mean Tim Levcik. I think we've seen this episode before.

i still dont like berlin.....he was a disappointment at um and i dont see him doing much here. sadly i kinda expected the interception he threw at the end of the game.

Um last time I checked Ricky Williams weighed 213 pounds and didn't have much power whatsoever when he ran last night, and Ronnie Brown (is unsigned and) is slated to be our primary runner which means that Linehan might like to use a guy other than Ronnie in the red zone so as not to shorten Ronnie's career.

BTW, Brock Berlin looked better than Heupel, Levcik, Druckenmiller, or Quinn ever looked for us in the preseason.

Pre-season?....they played against most of the guys who are gonna be cut from the other team!

Harris' running did not. His cuts were slow, and too upright. That screen catch and run was very nice. But, he looked lost running out of the backfield.
Well, I did hear a rumor about him Harris being moved to T.E.
Now I am going to put on my flame resistant suit and say that, as of now, I would rather see Gordon cut than KJ :yikes:. Lamar didn't look very comfy running out of the backfield either. But alot of that has to do with the o-line also, soo....
:confused2

Kay Jay looked the better of all the other hb's

very well said joneal7 i belive in kay jay becuse , ricky is pathetic and minor sux so if all the other dolphin fans were as affable as you and i then maybe we can bring some sanity to the dolphin nation.

Brock Berlin SUCKS he is the reason the Loaded Hurricanes didnt even get a shot at the national championship.

Brock was ok, but he's not an NFL QB. Even on a great UM team, he tended to look pretty mediocre. He was definitely a weak link. He did fine last night, but made some dumb throws too. I can't see him sticking, even on the PS.

Kay JAy has potential and he looked good out there. I'd like to see him against the 1st or 2nd stringers. I hope he gets a shot, but we are pretty deep. If he switches to TE or H-back that could get him more opportunity.
