Dolphins | Berlin named NFL Europe's Offensive Player of the Week
Tue, 9 May 2006 07:29:06 -0700
NFLEurope.com reports Miami Dolphins QB Brock Berlin has been named NFL Europe's Offensive Player of Week 8 after leading the Hamburg Sea Devils to their first victory of the 2006 season against the Berlin Thunder.

If he can keep this up maybe he still has a chance to stay on our roster.

I honestly think he's good as gone. If we have a 4th qb, it's gonna be holland.

that's what I think too. His only hope is if he continues to put up numbers and maybe win league MVP if they have one.

First victory of the season! Doesnt that kind of say something? Holland will surplant Berlin IMO.

Sorry Brock is not impreesive as a QB at all he has stuggle mightly in NFL Eurpoe he is not even the best QB on the team and was at a point of being benched.

NOPE.:shakeno: They left out the part where they've LOST every game so far.
Berlin & his team are 1-6. Berlin's got 6 TD's and 6 int's thru 7 games. (against guys who couldnt cut it in the real NFL)

In powering his club to a 38-14 win, Berlin completed 12 of 15 passes for 183 yards, 3 touchdowns and no interceptions. His passer rating of 157.1 was the fourth-highest in NFL Europe League history and just shy of the highest possible ranking of 158.3.

Ironic isn't it. The week he gets demoted to third string he comes in and saves the day! While this suggests he has more talent than some would admit, the overall body of his work in NFLE has been less than stellar!

With two weeks of the regular season remaining, Berlin has thrown for 746 yards, 6 touchdowns and 6 interceptions for a quarterback rating of 64.9.

If we sign Harrington he will have to work very hard to even make the PS, let alone beat out the competition for the third QB spot.

Don't be so quick to think Holland will be the 4th (PS) QB. I say wait until TC and Pre-season.

Good for him, but that still doesn't help him out when competing with Holland for the PS spot.

He might make the practice squad again

Actually, if he keeps this performance up through the rest of his NFLEL Campaign, it will. As of right now, Brock Berlin, despite the stats, is more seasoned than Holland.

 :shakeno:  :sidelol:

I'm glad to hear about Berlin. I think it will between him and Holland for the fourth QB spot.

Brock gives us nothing, I mean a number 3 should be a qb we feel can develop into somethign special like Holland, not stay as a career number 3 which is exactly what Berlin is.
